Our story
Lakefront Appliance Works started with a simple observation: most appliance repair services treat every call as a transaction. Get in, swap a part, get out. We saw an opportunity to do something different.
Founded in Lincoln Park, our workshop was built on the idea that appliance repair should be a craft. Viking appliances are engineered with care and precision -- they deserve to be repaired the same way. We take the time to understand what went wrong, why it happened, and how to fix it so it does not happen again.

Inside our workshop
Our workshop is where the careful work happens. Every tool has its place, every workbench is organized, and every technician knows exactly where to find what they need. This order is not for show -- it is how we ensure consistency and quality.
When a complex repair requires bench work, the appliance component comes to our workshop. Here we can take the time needed to diagnose circuit boards, test motors, and calibrate components without the time pressure of an on-site visit.
We maintain an inventory of common Viking parts so that many repairs can be completed on the first visit. For specialized components, our supplier relationships mean shorter wait times and verified authenticity.
